Great restaurant! The food and service are excellent. The Nobel price diner is offered in the Stadthuset and this restaurant is responsible for preparing the food. You may reserve the place and choose the menu of some of these diners in history. We got the dessert from last year (is in the photo below), and it was great! A special place. Everything we ate were wonderful.

We came to try the Nobel dinner menu and I was a bit disappointed. The staff were very friendly, professional and polite and the atmosphere was nice BUT the food was not the best. The small piece of bread in the beginning was solid rock and the starter was mediocre. From the main dish the meat was excellent but the rest were less than mediocre. The dessert was delicious and the drinks were very good. Overall I would say it was a good food experience but definitely not worth the money. It's more of a tourist trap because it is in the city hall and it's where the novelists eat.

We were here for a company dinner. The building is celebrating its 100 years (1923 - 2023), and it has that 100 years vibes. Located underground, it has a low, decorative ceiling. Food is good and the desert was amazing.

Everything was excellent. The service was really good, super knowledgeable and answered every question we had. Super accommodating and a really good dining experiences. Never tried food like that.

Good for experience of dining in old architectural location, food arrangement, flavours of some food. Simple selection from several meals per course. We had reservation while we were there, the palace was half empty, it is still recommended to make a reservation in advance as the palce got crowded later. They are Working really well on showing high standard from interaction of service with us, to details of meals on plates. Maybe location of our table on the place was unfortunate to catch waitress attention. Maybe my inexperienced persona is writing, but it is highly unusual to me to have the place without any waiters, especially for longer than several minutes. Multi-langual meny is not intuitive. Finding English part of the meny without asking waiters was without success. Service was helpful, and we managed even without detailed English vocabulary to have pleasant experience of all meals.

The staffs were friendly, the venue was classy, I tried the fish soup, which was way too salty, eventually I couldn’t finish it. The desert was the most famous Nobel’s but unfortunately I didn’t find it too special. A nice experience to be here though.
